The Horizon Europe Sister Projects ALFAwetlands, RESTORE4Cs, REWET, and WET HORIZONS are proud to announce the launch of “Wetlands in Action”, a dynamic series of expert-led webinars showcasing the latest in wetland science, innovation, and cross-project collaboration.
Taking place between November 2025 and April 2026, the series will spotlight the latest developments in wetland restoration, monitoring, sustainable management, and policy. Each 45-minute session will feature focused presentations followed by interactive discussions, creating an open space for dialogue and exchange among researchers, policymakers, and practitioners across disciplines.
By uniting four major European research initiatives, Wetlands in Action demonstrates the strong synergies emerging from collaboration where diverse expertise, methodologies, and case studies come together to deliver evidence-based solutions for wetland restoration and resilience.
The Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) European Chapter will also join the series, offering valuable insights into global opportunities for scientific collaboration and support within the wetland research community.
