What is REWET?
REWET is a 4-year collaboration project funded by the EU involving 18 partners from 9 EU countries that aims to drive the sustainable restoration and conservation of terrestrial wetlands. REWET accelerates the restoration of ≥ 2400 ha of terrestrial wetlands across Europe (Netherlands, Austria, Finland, Estonia, Belgium, Italy, and Portugal) and sets the stage for the replication of tested solutions across the EU. As part of the project, we are collecting insights through a survey from European wetlands experts and stakeholders on the latest innovation trends (policy, financial, technical) for wetland conservation, restoration and sustainable management across Europe. These insights will be collated and digested into a comprehensive yearly Innovation Report showcasing the latest innovations and best practices across Europe and defining lines for future work.
How can I contribute to the REWET project?
As part of REWET’s Policy Observatory, we invite you to contribute to an EU-wide survey on the latest innovation trends for wetland conservation and restoration.
Through a series of innovation reports, the REWET Observatory will showcase and reflect on the main innovations (policy, finance, technical solutions) currently being implemented across Europe’s wetlands by practitioners or interested parties like you.
Your responses will be treated as confidential and will solely be used to inform the REWET Innovation Report.
